The challenge
Skilling a global partner network means bringing hundreds of sessions, ten languages and years of participation history into one place, and still answering a simple question for each individual: what should I do next? Catalog-and-search breaks down long before that scale.
Our approach
DAS built the platform core — catalog, discovery, localization into ten languages, and the data model underneath it. Recommendation and sequencing run on a purpose-built algorithmic system working across the full participation history, coupled with AI to interpret what a partner has engaged with and what genuinely follows from it.
The in-person side is a full event management system in its own right — registration, QR-based check-in, surveys and on-site badge printing — carrying hundreds of events a year. It is one slice of the platform rather than the point of it, which is the fairest measure of how much platform there is.
Behind all of it sits an administration platform running on the order of 800 APIs — catalog and taxonomy management, partner and provider records, email campaigns with delivery analytics, surveys and forms, and live dashboards broken down by country, language, company and job role.
Almost every one of those endpoints carries its own role permissions and can be issued as a scoped developer token, so an integration is granted exactly the surface it needs and nothing wider. GIN-indexed search is what makes a surface that size usable — the catalog and the participation history behind it stay queryable at speed, rather than only the corners someone thought to build a report against.
The outcome
Skilling Hub gives Microsoft partners a single place to discover skilling in their own language, and gives the teams behind it full control of how it runs. Program owners publish content, launch events, send campaigns and report on results directly from the admin, so the platform moves at the pace of the program rather than the pace of a development backlog.
That control holds up at scale. Events of every size, from a single session to a multi-city in-person series, run on the same system, with registration, communications and on-site check-in handled end to end. When plans change on the ground, registrants are updated quickly and in their own language.
Just as importantly, the platform grows with the partner ecosystem around it. New programs, regions and partner platforms plug into the same foundation, so each addition extends what Skilling Hub can do without adding complexity for the people who use it.
